翻了一下 New York Times，紀念會一早7點就開始了，因為911的遺址ground zero正在興建新的希望之塔，場地改到東南方的Zuccotti Park舉行。今年是第一次和當年911一樣是星期二，不同的是今天紐約的天氣不再晴朗，而是有點陰鬱。

像往常一樣，Lower Manhattan各處都有大大小小的追思會。

是了, 就是這張! Keith Jarrett 凱斯．傑瑞特 2005年秋天在 Carnegie Hall, New York City 的個人音樂會。 在小J那看到這張CD, 就一直記著想找找看, 今天突然想到, 在博客來找到了! 果然單價不便宜… 當初都買了票聽現場了, 比起來好像也不是那麼貴, 博客來有他的一些簡介, 還有兩首可以試聽, 有興趣可以去聽看看。

晚上不小心轉到了重播的慾望城市，剛好演到Big要搬去LA他買下的一塊葡萄園。前一天晚上，Carrie依依不捨的和Big坐馬車逛中央公園時問Big。 “New York, New York, 你怎麼捨得離開? 難道你不會想念她嗎?” Big遲疑了兩秒鐘回答 “Nope”. 前一段Big還說 “I’m so tired of New York”. God!!! 只有真的New Yorker才會說出這樣的話吧。 I miss New York so so much… 時間真是快的可怕，從New York 回來已經一年多了，短短的一個半月，感覺好像昨天還在那裡。

上禮拜才看了”World Trade Center”電影，說實在真是有點小失望，沒有很多紐約的街景，只有埋在廢墟裡，黑鴉鴉的演了一個多小時。不過想起2005年的911那天我也到了WTC的遺址和大家一起緬懷歷史性的悲劇，在那時候真的感受到了New Yorker or American的一種向心力。或許有很多是像我一樣的觀光客，只是在那湊熱鬧，感染著那嚴肅，悲傷的芬圍，靜靜的看著那數十道光束圍成向稱WTC雙塔的兩大光束，真難想像當初的狀況有多糟。

ALCC是位於紐約市的語言學校，有各式各樣的語言課程。有各種語言的接待人員，地理位置非常好，曼哈頓的校區就在Hotel Pennsylvania裡，是紐約遊學的不錯選擇。
路人 Kate問到我去ALCC的經驗，我把回覆摘錄在下面囉。 ==========================

真羨慕你要去New York囉~

ALCC其實蠻划算的，不需要I-20，可以直接現場報名，第一週加註冊費100多塊,第二週以後好像是80多塊。每週繳費，隨時都可以停止。不過我覺得實際上不會有多大的學習效果,倒是可以認識來自世界各國的同學們。還有那張ALCC的學生證，可以讓你在NY享有學生的身分，在大都會歌劇院可以買學生票$25，超划算的。

ALCC的分級是直接面試的，強調口語的文法，要注意動詞時態等等，如果分級後上了幾天課不滿意的話可以再申請重新面試。還有去之前最好先溫習一下以前的英文課本，如果被分到比較低的班級，會很難熬喔。

如果你想要的是英文能力的進步，我是覺得ALCC不會有多大的幫助，可以考慮看看大學內附屬的或是其他有些比較嚴格的語言學校。如果只是像我一樣，只是想要”體驗”一下的話，ALCC是很好的選擇喔~
